Description:
‘Britt-Marie Crawford’ is a deciduous perennial, so it disappears in winter. But this has its advantages, including absolute cold hardiness and new growth that emerges each spring looking amazingly fresh and bold and stays that way for month after month, right through summer and early autumn. The leaf colour, which is a gorgeous, glossy, dark chocolate-maroon on top with purple undersides. In addition, the leaves are large, leathery and rounded, with just enough curves and lines to give them a sculptural look. In summer there are golden daisy flowers which are held well above the foliage.
