Salvia argentea

Wooly silvery gray foliage looks like something prehistoric, almost like Dusty Miller on steroids. Flower stems are 12 to 18 inches with white blossoms tinged with yellow. They are easy to grow and will do well in any sunny spot. Very tough and hardy.

Rosy flower spikes on 12” tall plants. Blooms heavy in mid too late spring and on and off during summer and fall. Cut back after the first flowering is done to produce a second bloom of more compact growing flower stems.

Lilac flowers on stiff 24” stems with large woolly foliage. Blooms June through August. Deadhead after initial flowering to promote a second showing. "Purple Rain Sage" is tolerant of most soil types. Flowers are good for cutting.
Salvia verticillata 'White'
'White Rain' is a compact salvia that grows to 24" tall. Tolerates very light shade, but prefers full sun. Promptly remove spent blooms to extend flowering period. Flowers bloom throughout the summer and are very attractive to butterflies.
